Important Updates Regarding Google Photos & Drive

Google is making significant changes to the Photos and Drive integrations effective on March 31st, 2025. With these changes, DAKboard Google Photos and Google Drive blocks will no longer function.

Why Is This Change Occurring?

Google states that the change is to prioritize user privacy by limiting how third-party apps can access your photo library, meaning apps will now need explicit permission to access specific photos rather than having broad access to your entire Google Photos collection.

What Have We Done About It?

We have you covered with many other excellent photo integrations, and a new feature that will allow you to import your Google Photos into the DAKboard Media Library.

DAKboard offers many other photo integrations that are capable of automatically displaying your new photos in your albums to consider. Please consider any of the following options and update your photo blocks before March 31st, 2025:

Media Library For Easy Google Photos Importing

DAKboard has now expanded Media Library access for users with the Essential Subscription. We have developed a Google Photos import tool allowing you to select and import your Google Photos to use with DAKboard.
